Ulysses Butterfly
Our Favourite Daintree Insect

- The Ulysses Butterfly is a brilliant electric blue colour.
- It is a large butterfly, with a wingspan of up to 14cm.
- Its caterpillars are green and white.
- The Ulysses Butterfly plays an important role in the Daintree ecosystem by helping to pollinate plants.
- It is a threatened species.
- It is found in the Daintree Rainforest, as well as other tropical rainforests in northeastern Queensland and nearby islands.
